The Somerset Collective is an extensive directory of local, independent businesses, all keen to sell their unique creations, or carefully sourced products, at our pop up events, and raise money for charity. The charities are chosen by our venues and over the last 10 years we've raised nearly £30,000.

Holly also takes commissions, whether it’s your pet or something else that inspires you. |  Hopothecary CandlesMakers of home fragrance with an environmental conscience. Hand made in small batches in Somerset, their candles are made with a 100% vegetable base, which is biodegradable and derived from a renewable source. Glassware is either recycled, recyclable or reusable. Formerly Monty Hop Candles. |  House of HerdEmily is a designer/maker based in Somerset. Her inspiration comes from growing up on a farm, her love of nature and passion for original design. Through her education in textiles and penchant for the unusual, she fell upon creating her own cowhide lampshade when she couldn't find one on the market. |  Kathryn Pow ArtKathryn is an ex fashion designer who decided to leave London to return to her Somerset roots where she picked up her pencils again. Kathryn’s illustration business all started when she was 40 weeks pregnant with a nursery project, an Animal Alphabet. The artworks make perfect personalized gifts for nurseries and children’s rooms. |  Knotty KnottySister duo Becky and Lucy have a range of whimsical, handmade, joyful banners and paper goods, hand illustrated and stitched in their studio in Dorset. |
 Lydia's Willow WeavingLydia is a willow basket maker from Somerset. She handmakes all her baskets in her workshop in Wincanton. She likes to bring current styles into her work while using traditional and ancient techniques. |  Maggie Rose HomeMaggie Rose Home is a small business run by Leni from her home in Somerset. She makes classic and traditional children's clothes in carefully selected cotton fabric and will be introducing her new 'Homeware' selection this year. These will include lovely tableclothes as well as napkins in stonewashed linen, a classic Provencal cotton and some fun lightweight Indian hand block prints. She also offers a bespoke service should you require something specific for your table. |  Magic Organic ApothecaryMOA - Magic Organic Apothecary creates natural and organic skincare, made in England, inspired by old herbal folklore and with a sprinkling of magic! The founder Charlie lives in Somerset with her family, where she makes many of the products by hand. She designs and illustrates the packaging, taking inspiration from magical folklore and mythology. The products are created with sensitive skin in mind, to enhance wellbeing and to practice a simple, yet effective daily skin care ritual. |  Natty DecoNatty Deco products are designed, cut and made by Maggie Powell. Hand making beautiful polymer clay earrings in Somerset, these are perfect gifts for yourself or others. |  Pure PunjabiPure Punjabi is a mother and daughter team focusing on preserving and passing on the culinary North Indian heritage of their mothers and grandmothers. They do this via their artisan spice products and their cookery school & event space in Tintinhull. |  Raggy RouxRaggy Roux's Sarah Trevithick offers her handcrafted, quirky, and colourful soft furnishings, inspired by British wildlife, made in Somerset! |  Savannah WillowHandmade, gorgeous and ethical gifts and homewares produced by hard-working, skilled individuals in developing countries, who have been supported, trained and paid a fair wage for their work through social enterprises and community based organisations. |  Tam Mason Hand ScrubsTam Mason has developed her knowledge of pure and natural ingredients within the skincare field, particularly those that are relevant to hand care. Combining her interest in natural ingredients, her love of design and passion for exceptional quality, each pot of Sugar Scrub is carefully blended in Somerset and packed by hand. |
 The Sustainable ShopThe Sustainable Shop is an online store based in Somerset. It aims to bring together a curated edit of tried and tested products which will help people live more sustainably. Encouraging people to buy less and buy better. |  Waft and CoWaft & Co is based in Wells, Somerset and was founded by ex-Vogue staffer Maria Matthews. After many years of wearing Spanish hand-fans when holidaying in Andalucia, Maria increasingly found she was bringing them back to the UK to use during heatwaves here, and as an invaluable year-round aid for those pesky menopausal hot flushes! Maria’s aim is to revive the lost art of fan wearing in the UK. Made using only sustainable woods and cotton, this is a 100% no plastic initiative! |  Wild West CiderWild West Cider is a family-run business based in North Somerset, run by Matt Stephenson and son-in-law Sean Beaton. They make small batch craft ciders with 100% apple juice from untreated, traditional cider orchards. Initial fermentation takes place without the addition of sugar, yeast or sulphites. When asked where the name comes from, Matt's answer is: "We're Wild because the ciders all undergo wild fermentation; we're West because we're proudly based in the West of England". |  Sign up to sell with us!If you're a Somerset based (or nearby) independent creator or retailer of unique items, join the Collective at a future event! |
